Hamilton Fall Garden & Mum Show
Gage Park 1000 Main Street East

Every autumn, the annual Fall Garden and Mum Show is always a pleasure to visit. I hadn’t been for a few years, so was happy to make it this year. Each one has a different theme, and it made sense that this year’s was the Pan Am Games. Along with the displays there was a brief history written up about each activity – soccer, golf, basketball, table tennis (which I learned was also called ‘flim flam’ and ‘whiff whaff’), rowing, bowling, cycling, archery… Sports!

In case you missed it, here are some snapshots from the exhibit. They’re nice to look at as we cling to the last remnants of fall.
