The Create Joy Fund presents its first annual holiday event – The Spirit of Christmas.

The Create Joy Fund is the not-for-profit behind one of my favourite events in the city, A Midsummer’s Dream. Now they are now hosting their first holiday event, The Spirit of Christmas. It’s a FUNdraiser for The Create Joy Fund and A Midsummer’s Dream, and a Toy Raiser for the Children’s Fund.

From Create Joy Fund: Primarily a toy raiser for the Children’s Toy Drive, the event is looking to revive the spirit of Christmas this year by hosting an extraordinary Christmas event. With your ticket, you will enter a holiday world with food, music and merriment, that will uplift your spirits and get you ready for the Holiday season. 50% of your proceeds will go to the Create Joy Fund and 50% to the annual Colour Festival A Midsummer’s Dream.

Tickets are $20, and food is provided. This is a full on Christmas event, with decorations, ugly Christmas sweaters, Christmas drinks, Christmas music, and good ol fashioned fun! There will be bands playing Christmas music that encourage sing alongs, 50/50 draws, prize for the best sweater, and more!
