Webster’s Falls

By Kristin Archer

I don’t do the New Year’s Resolution thing, but one thing I need to tackle more this year in my local travels is waterfalls! Hamilton is the waterfall capital of the world, after all, and it’s about time I visit as many as I can. Be sure to visit City Of Waterfalls, an incredible resource with photos, directions, and detailed history of each. It amazes me every time I visit the site that there are so many gorgeous waterfalls and landscapes here. I really can’t wait to see more of this aspect of my city.

At the end of October I hit up Webster’s Falls in Dundas. One of the more well-known waterfalls, it’s a good place to start. I was also desperate to get out into nature while the fall foliage was still out (sorry to temp you with these photos now, in this freezing weather!) and I’m so glad I took the time to do so. I also loved the area along The Spencer Adventure above the falls. So lovely.

Here’s to more outdoor adventures like this in 2015!

    1. Aw no, unfortunately it was still gated off! This was in October. We saw others hopping the gate so we did the same (not the safest!) but I think there is a way to hike to it from the other direction, just takes longer. I’ll check out your post! Isn’t that top area so lovely, though! Gorgeous in the fall. – Kristin
