I’m honoured that myself and I Heart Hamilton have been nominated for two Hamilton Independent Media Awards (The Maggies)!

Best Independent Media Outlet – I Heart Hamilton
Best Journalist – Arts and Culture – Kristin Archer

Thank you to all who submitted a nomination. I was touched to read the reasons behind the nominations on the Current Nominees page. Congratulations to all the nominees – I love seeing so many of us being recognized in this way and this boost of encouragement for the city’s independent media scene.

Now it’s time to VOTE! The Awards will take place on October 16th at Club Absinthe.
