CIN50 – “Freak Stuff That Normal People Do (Radio Edit)” [Listen]
Been looking forward to hearing CIN50’s debut EP, LORE (now i feel like i’m dreaming), since they first dropped this single late last year. Essential for our summer soundtrack!

The Dirty Nil – “Rock N’ Roll Band” [Listen]
The Nil has blessed us with a brand new banger of an album, The Lash. They consistently deliver!

Superstar Crush – “Do What U Wanna” [Listen]
After last year debut’s EP, Superstar Crush levels up with their first full-length, Way Too Much, featuring a revamped version of this track.

Junestone – “TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT” [Listen]
Following a great debut LP in 2024, FIRST TRY, Junestone brings us another great single.

Golden Feather – “Goodbye (Cosmic End) – Live” [Listen]
Golden Feather follows up 2024’s self-titled album with a live album, Cosmic Rays (Live), which showcases the band in their element.

Dynasty – “Combative Heart” [Listen]
A new project on the scene – Dynasty is synth-pop duo Roman Marcone and Jenni Dreager. Pulling from an eclectic range of musical experience, they share their second track.

Jesse Adams – “Breakup Song” [Listen]
The latest bop from singer-songwriter Jesse Adams, who also directed the dreamy music video for this new single.

Ariana Fig – “Deep End” [Listen]
Ariana Fig is on a roll this year with several great tracks. For this next track, she first showcased it as part of local songwriting series Shaky Knees Club.

Gareth Inkster – “Petunia” [Listen]
Gareth Inkster shares the beautiful new track “Petunia” and also has more on the way. The multi-instrumentalist recently recorded and filmed a series of performances at scenic stops along on a drive from Hamilton to Manitoulin. Look out for the EP on August 15.

Fünyboht – “Be Here Now” [Listen]
Releasing music since 2015, Fünyboht is the project of multi-instrumentalist songwriter Michael Myszkowski in collaboration with session musicians. This track is one of two new tracks out this summer.

The Commune – “Corrina” [Listen]
New on my radar, I was happy to come across Irish-Canadian folk rock band The Commune when they were part of Grant Avenue Studio’s Road to Supercrawl series.

Sean Bienhaus – “Blue” [Listen]
Sean shares that writing this track “marked a whole new era in my music and life and has been a staple of my live shows since its creation.” Coming up, you can catch Sean as part of this year’s 905 Fest lineup on August 24.

Math Club – “Gimme a ‘D’ (So What?)” feat. & Eric Brandon [Listen]
I was very excited to hear a collaboration from these two!

Allegories – “Stay Out of the Basement” [Listen]
The latest from the experimental indie-electronic duo Allegories. Originally starting to take shape on the ukulele, the track morphed from there into the final eerie/dreamy cut we hear now.

StereoRuss – “It’s Alright” feat. Tarek Funk & Izzi Ahmed [Listen]
A stellar local collaboration from StereoRuss, Tarek Funk, and Izzi Ahmed (who also plays with The Checkerboards and Fünyboht. The track has charted high on CFMU this summer!
