The Vagina Monologues Hamilton
Calling out to all the beautiful ladies of Hamilton! The Vagina Monologues are coming to town!
The Vagina Monologues will be performed from February 10-12 at The Spice Factory. This awesome show will be held by community members from Hamilton, with a mission to raise awareness about the strong women in our society, and the power we have to create positive change and help fellow women in need of our support.
The vast majority of proceeds will be going to Mary’s Place, the largest single women’s shelter in Hamilton. Mary’s Place provides safe and supportive emergency accommodation for women dealing with homelessness, poverty, mental illness and/or violence.
Vintage Coffee Roasters, Girl On The Wing, Sweet & Simple Candy, Felt Melons, and other vendors will also be set up at The Spice Factory, and all will be donating a large amount of the proceeds to Mary’s Place as well. The theme will reign on with vendors selling various vajayjay-related items, such as vagina themed colouring books!
The Vagina Monologues are being produced by co-creator of the ‘Women of Hamilton’ campaign, Stef Dubbeldam. This talented lady partnered with Joanna Aitcheson to create a movement that recognizes the value of the women in our community. This campaign encourages ladies from all over the city to share their stories and inspire others. “When we lift each other up, we are about to create positive change,” explains Dubbeldam. “We want to encourage more women to feel comfortable with who they are, and feel empowered to accomplish their dreams, whatever they are – whether that’s to open their own business, or just be the best mom.”
Tickets for The Vagina Monologues are $15 and can be found online now. Sponsored tickets will also be available for purchase for the matinees, so that one can sponsor a ticket for a woman who may not have the ability to afford it on her own. The sponsored tickets are $12 instead of $15.

We’re giving away a pair of tickets to opening night – Feb. 10th!
