I Heart Hamilton is excited to premiere the brand new video by Danielle Knibbe!

The Toronto-based, Edmonton-raised singer-songwriter celebrates the release her latest album The Ribcage & The Heart in Hamilton this Friday, March 29 at The Mule Spinner, which you know is a favourite spot of mine! The night also features Justin Dunlop of local duo The Dunlop Brothers. (Get tickets!)

To get a taste, watch Danielle’s beautiful performance of the album’s last track, Feel Like This performed live-off-the-floor at The Mule Spinner with her frequent collaborators, both on-stage and in the studio, Connor Walsh and Bryn Besse.

The video was created with SoundStill Productions who have been shooting a series of sessions out of The Mule Spinner for an organization called The Unicorn Project. Being a big fan of Danielle’s songwriting, filmmaker Tim O’Reilly wanted her to be part of the series. This led to The Mule Spinner not only being the perfect spot for this performance, but also for Danielle’s album release show. Tim says, “We shot the video in early January, and the band fell in love with the room as soon as they walked in. The vibe and intimacy of that space is the perfect complement to Danielle’s candid and provocative performance style, and I think the video really shows that. People are in for a real treat.”

Thank you SoundStill Productions for the premiere!
