Mulberry After Dark @ Mulberry Street Coffeehouse
with Muffled Suitcase

Kristin A/B – Vinyl set
(Kristin Archer & Kristin Lee B)

It was a steamy, summer night at one of our favourite spots, Mulberry Coffee. It had been a little while since the coffee shop transformed into their late night dance party, Mulberry After Dark. We teamed up with our friend Muffled Suitcase for a night of back-to-back, all-vinyl sets.

When Kristin B and I met up a week before to plan out our sets, we got down to business at Mulberry, over iced coffees and their delicious power bowl salads. It was neat to see the beginning and end result of our vision for this one all take place in the same spot.

It was a friendly DJ battle with Muffled Suitcase (aka Greg Santilly) and he absolutely killed it! He brought the best party jams. Do not miss him when he DJs the next Discography, August 2nd at The Baltimore House.

Mulberry also debuted their fabulous summer cocktail menu for the occasion. They had me at “Christmas in July”! (I also sampled the “Ginny Weasley” and “Mulberry Sunrise” – go get these while you can!
