DJ set — May 22, 2016
Discography @ The Baltimore House
with DJ Mark & DJ Andy

DJ Kristin Archer (Vinyl set)

I hopped back behind the decks at Discography for I Heart Hamilton’s 5th anniversary month! I had a lot of fun putting this set together – working in a few nods to Hamilton, hearts/love, and I had been itching to bust out some D-I-S-C-O! I also fulfilled a goal of playing Barbra Streisand. On a recent trip to Cheapies, I left with a $2 Barbra vinyl and $35 Tame Impala – that’s how I roll!

I was too busy DJing (and Snapchatting! Follow me there ihearthamilton) to take photos, but it always makes me smile to see a room full of people shaking it out on the dance floor. Special thanks to Aaron and Paul of The Eye of Faith for lending me the Broadway soundtrack of HAIR! I saw them along with Baltimore’s co-owner Jimmy in Hamilton Theatre Inc.’s production the night before, so it only made sense to start and end my set with the groovy show.
