Talking about The Garden Project – an annual funding initiative from Industry and Porch Light Theatre that commissions Hamilton-based racialized artists who are Indigenous, Black or People of Colour working in any performance discipline with $2000 of seed money to create and develop new work. The deadline to apply is July 11. Hear my chat with Aaron Jan, Hamilton-born & Toronto-based playwright, director, dramaturg, and co-founder of Porch Light Theatre. We talk about how you can get involved with The Garden Project, Hamilton’s theatre scene, and what is needed to support racialized artists in Hamilton.
