I Heart Hamilton on 93.3 CFMU — Episode 008 (Dec. 27/13) by Ihearthamilton on Mixcloud

When I launched I Heart Hamilton – the radio show – at 93.3 CFMU two months ago, New Hands’ “Whichever Way You’ll Have It” was the first song I ever played. I threw it out there that I would love to have them on as guests once they regroup and maybe we could give some of their new songs the exclusive first spin. I’m so honoured that we were able to do that on my last show of the year.

New Hands’ debut album Leave With The Night is now complete and is set to be released in 2014. In this episode we talked about the album and premiered six new songs: “Decide & Conquer,” “Swimming,” “Strange Attractor,” “Dreamer,” “Fair Game,” and “Leave With The Night.” The album is fantastic – so proud of these guys. Unfortunately, if you missed the show, you’re going to have to wait until the album’s release to hear them!

This is one of my favourite things I’ve been able to do on the show so far, and as I Heart Hamilton, as a whole! I hope you have as much fun listening to it as we did during the broadcast. Big thanks to my friends Ben, Spence, Evan, Pat, and Gordy!
