Live On Locke
Melrose United Church

Architects: the next time one of you gets a hankering to turn a church into something not a church, for the love of Pete, please turn it into a concert hall! Everyone else in the meantime: get yourself into a church for a concert and you’ll get what I’m saying. Enter in: the Live on Locke concert series at Melrose United Church. Live music performed by reputable musicians, whilst inside a castle of a church.

For the final show of the season, Wintersleep stopped by Hamilton while on their “The Great Detachment” tour, along with supporting act Hannah Georgas. Not one, but two well rounded Canadian music acts filled the bill for Front Room Entertainment‘s Live on Locke music series. Thank you, organizer Madeline Wilson, for bringing to us such musical bliss.

Check out I Heart Hamilton’s first blog post about Live on Locke for a heck of a lot more information about this year’s series as a whole. (PS: Afie from Bahamas rocked that one!)
