I Heart Hamilton is excited to premiere the brand new video by Mount Farewell!
“Guelph Line” is the latest single from Burlington’s Mount Farewell. After their successful Love Letter Home EP, which made I Heart Hamilton’s Best Of 2017, Mount Farewell has been busy performing across Ontario. Finally having time to return to the studio, “Guelph Line” is a nostalgic look at the band’s past, with the video featuring the same streets that they cycled as youth. Soaring synths and tones dripping with nostalgia build the song into an anthem that leaves the listener contemplating their own childhood and eager to hear the song again.
Mount Farewell chose fellow Burlingtonian and photographer Kyle Kirkwood to direct the music video in a way to capture the mixed emotions that occur when thinking about past. “Guelph Line” is available on all the popular streaming services and will be featured on several compilations by UK Playlister Alex Rainbird this December.
