Listen: Episode 361 (July 16/21)

I Heart Hamilton airs Fridays 2-3PM on 93.3 CFMU
Hosted by Kristin Archer

The Safer Spaces Project was created to address the harm, abuse, and discrimination rampant in performing arts spaces. Hear my conversation with Project Director Robin Lacambra and Project Coordinator Laura Welch.

“The last number of years have seen a shake-up in the performing arts. Abuses of power and harassment, racial inequity, misogyny, transphobia, biphobia, fatphobia, ableism, and other systemic barriers and stigmas have contributed to artists and patrons not feeling safe in artistic environments. Old models are broken. New standards are required.”
